....there are 145,000 U.S. troops in Iraq and another 24,000 in Afghanistan for a total of 169,000 troops in theater. The battle ships and navy people in the surrounding waters of the middle east must have another 25,000 let say (figure not known) so being conservative there are at least 194,000 military personel in theater.

The total U.S households according to the 2000 census were 105,480,101 so let's say that that is now at 109,000,000 based on a 4.2% population growth since the census was taken. The ratio of military personel in the Iraq/Afghanistan war theater to U.S. households would be:
194,000 troops /109,000,000 U.S. households = .0018 or .18%

Based on that figure, congress needs to show that there is at least 1 member's son or daughter in active duty over there right now. Michael says they have none. If we take the turn ratio, that is all troops that have been sent there since hostilities began (tour of duty was supposed to be 6 months originally, then this conflict with the lead up mobilization probably had 3 times this number not counting double/multiple tours, so I would think that congress should have had 3 to 4 sons or daughters there since hostilities began. I have found none, zero, nada! Micheal Moore is correct and congress is Bushiting us all.
