Poll question: The Terrorists-Election Question

The media seems hellbent on drilling in us the idea that we should base our voting choices in the upcoming election on "who the terrorists want to win." Many argue that the terrorists want Bush to lose, so we should vote for Bush. Never mind that there is no salient evidence to support this, and that reports have circulated that terrorists are actually hoping Bush will win, fearing that Kerry will be stronger on terror. My point is, does anyone else find this premise rather silly? Why should we let terrorists influence our vote? Anyway, what sayest thou?

1. "The terrorists" is too broad for me.

No one can say who the terrorists 'want' to win or lose. Therefore I agree with your premise that outside influences shouldn't color our election but these terrorists they are conjuring are too vague to even recognize.

Clearly I didn't understand what you meant. But each person should vote for whoever they think is the best choice to lead our nation. :shrug:

4. Honestly, this really shouldn't have been a poll question

I think I made it too complex. My point was that the whole premise of voting based on whether the terrorists will back one candidate or another is absurd.

3. I Could Care Less What The Terrorists Think!

In my humble opinion, anyone who sways their vote upon what the "spin media" claims the terrorists prefer needs to wake up!
Regardless of who the terrorists favor, their ass is grassed!
Especially when John Kerry is elected because he won't play fuck fuck with them and will put America's efforts where it belongs, where the terrorists are!
Remember, most of the 9/11 boys were Saudi, so what does butthole do? Attack Iraq. I will always vote for what is best for America, regardless of party, although I have been voting Democrat for many, many years, I vote for America! I will vote for John Kerry!

P.S. I don't think I will ever vote repug again because I don't see them as a party for the American people, but maybe someday that will change, although I doubt it.
