CNN Already spun out of the age of the Intelligence

They had some British " Intel expert" saying that it didn't matter how old the Intel was because the WTC was being cased back in 1998. The morning whore then asked "well just how scared should we be"
8. I wonder how many of the people who originally dreamed up
the terror attack are still alive? Or, I wonder exactly when this information was first brought up before Tom Ridge? Did he hold onto it to release it at an appropriate time? i.e. after the Democratic opponent's poll numbers started to rise?
to raise the alert level. There was nothing imminent about this latest threat. The only thing that was imminent was that the new poll numbers were coming out and Bu$h was on another bender.
that we have apparently been at war against Al Quadia for 3 years. If after 3 years we havn't dismantled Al Quadia to the point where there 3 year old plans have become obsolete then we have even worse problems.
In his Boston Globe column that's linked up in one of these posts. They claim simultaneously that we've got aQ on the run and we're "draining the swamp" (who comes up with these puerile phrases?), but they could still apparently inflict a 9/11 style attack at any moment.
9. Yeah, I saw that too...and it sounded nice and all, BUT!!!...
How hard was it to "case" the WTC??? How hard could it have been to fly planes into two of the largest buildings in the world???!!! I can understand if the point is more about airport and airline security but we're talking about a completely different type of tactic apparently and his argument doesn't fly.
If we use his logic, we should stay at an elevated state of alert from now until who knows when, because specific targets were named and we never know when they'll strike. That's not practical nor is it probable.
