Is there no act so destructive, ill-advised, foolish, dangerous ...

to the country and its long-term health that would motivate George HW Bush (the 41st) to openly, publicly, forcefully oppose a policy of his son George W Bush (the 43rd).

At long last, is his son truly more important to him than his country or can he just not see - or care about - the destructiveness of the actions of this administration.

2. My guess is 41 realizes 43's fiscal and other policies and pre-emptive
war(s) place this nation at grave risk, that quite possibly these are the gravest, most perilous times in our history, but he is crossing his fingers and hoping/praying for the best rather than publicly criticizing 43's policies/actions. But discounting the totally brain-dead, don't almost all of 43's most knowledgeable and intelligent ideological supporters also fully realize this, but are willing to risk all to have their far-right PNAC agenda fully implemented?

3. In a word, no.
I am convinced 41 is the evil behind the throne.

5. For royalists, it's all about maintaining personal power
They have absolutely NO concern for the country as a whole or what is good for most people.

They ONLY seek to perpetuate themselves in power, even if it means they preside over a smouldering wreck of a country.

They are no different than Saddam or the corrupt monarchs of old
