Pathetic Email I just got from Fundi friend: John Kerry Vitae
This is going to be one sick election when they start showing their true colors.

Message:

John Kerry Vitae

Education
College I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard or graduate with an MBA.

Experience Law Enforcement
I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire.

Military
I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam. I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest.
My book Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier shows how I tru! ly feel about the military.

Past Work Experience
I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa.

Accomplishments as US Senator
I set the record for the most liberal voting record exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country, but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected. My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in MA, despite family wealth in excess of $700 million. Al! though I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. NIMBY (not in my backyard).

Records and References
None.
Residence
7 mansions, including Washington DC, worth multimillions
Personal

I ride a Serotta Bike. I call my Gulfstream V Jet the Flying Squirrel.

I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the Scarmouche. I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and you had better listen to it as it reflects our real culture. I own several SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems.

Please Consider My Experience When Voting in 2004.

How idiotic is the person writing this, if this person doesn't know that a lawyer has more education than someone with an MBA ?

JD = Jurist "Doctorate"

Last I checked, a doctorate Degree was higher than a Masters Degree.

36. And of course it is almost certain Kerry graduated with higher than a C
average.

More Bushevik Pravda.

Goebbels posthumously wishes HE could have invented the Lying Bushevik Blast E-Mail, not the New Goebbels Karl Rove.

Of course, what Old Goebbels doesn't realize is that the Internet that allows New Goebbels his new invention is a new invention itself.

Poor Original Goebbels. New Goebbels outshines him in almost every way.

5. This particular bit of spam has shown up before....
I trust somebody will come up with a detailed rebuttal. However, I'd like to point out one fact:

John Kerry got a law degree & served as a Prosecutor. Little Bushie was denied admittance to the University of Texas Law School. His AWOL & string of failed business (including Bin Ladin investors & insider trading) are well known.

16. "detailed rebuttal?"
Hell, I gave it a shot, but to rebut this steaming pile of pachyderm pies, I'd have to break in twice a sentence. Anything less lets them pass off some spray of crap without comment while you're dealing with another bit.

17. No "detailed rebuttal"
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 09:41 AM by JHB
I gave it a shot, but this steaming pile of pachyderm pies is just too thick and deep. I'd have to cut in twice every sentence to actually rebut all the lies or call for them to prove their claims, and anything less lets them float a meme unchallenged while you're dealing with the spray of filth somewhere else. There's not one line of that thing that isn't misleading or an outright lie.

If the author (or passer-on) is a Fundy, hit him where it hurts: remind him that "bearing false witness" is considered a no-no by his own standards, so maybe he should stop doing it.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Exodus 20:16 (Deuteronomy 5:20, Matthew 19:18, Mark 10:19, Luke 18:20, Romans 13:9)

Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Exodus 23:1

Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked. Exodus 23:7

And who is "thy neighbor"?
Luke 10:25-37 25And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and made trial of him, saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26And he said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. 28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. 29But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor? 30Jesus made answer and said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32And in like manner a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion, 34and came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on them oil and wine; and he set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35And on the morrow he took out two shillings, and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, I, when I come back again, will repay thee. 36Which of these three, thinkest thou, proved neighbor unto him that fell among the robbers? 37And he said, He that showed mercy on him. And Jesus said unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

ON edit: got an error on the previous one, didn't think it went through.

misleading e-mail. This is one of their tricks that they always do.

I agree, I would just send "reply all" and find the Bush resume unless you want to debunk the issues item-by-item.

I personally didn't read past the C average - you could also send the Bush Yale transcript with all of it's c's and d's. How this guy
ever got into grad school is beyond me (oh, forgot, his name is Bush).

Pathetic people - have to tear down Kerry because they can't talk about Bush's record.

19. Irony 101
"I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard or graduate with an MBA."

Did JFK even apply to Harvard? Was JFK pursuing an MBA? Using the right’s impeccable logic, it can truthfully be said of Bush that not only did he not get admitted to Yucca Flats Community College but he also failed to even obtain an AA in Home Economics. Oh, the shame! The SHAME!!!

I mean, it’s not like JFK applied to the University of Texas School of Law after graduating from Yale and got rejected.

No, ironically that would be Bush who got rejected by that particular law school..... :D

And for anyone else out there who is or was a business major I'm sure you'd agree that getting an MBA is not the sort of task an inept, uncooperative personality such as * could receive without a little "help" if you know what I mean.

Also explain to me how that man could've scored at least 700 on his GMAT exam? I would imagine that'd be the minimum for Yale.

John Kerry Vitae

Education
College
I was valedictorian of my class at Yale, and was a member of the same Yale fraternity, Skull and Bones, as George W. Bush.
I then attended Boston University Law School, graduating with honors.

Experience Law Enforcement
As the head prosecutor for Middlesex County, Massachusetts, I put the second-worst mobster in the state behind bars.

Military
I served two tours in Vietnam as a lieutenant in the Navy. My first tour was spent on a supply ship. Seeking action, I volunteered for Swift Boats--the branch of the Navy which produced one of the highest casualty rates in the entire theater. I earned the Silver Star and the Bronze Star with Combat V.

Past Work Experience
After serving as a prosecutor, I was lieutenant governor of Massachusetts. Two years later I ran for and won election to the United States Senate, and have been reelected three times. I co-founded Vietnam Veterans of America.

Accomplishments as US Senator
I voted to approve an Iraq War spending bill that President Bush nearly vetoed because it didn't contain enough tax cuts for the rich. I have worked to improve public education and provide health care for poor children.

References
Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

Personal
I can ride a bicycle without falling off it. My pilot's certificate has never been revoked for failure to accomplish a physical.

Among my favorite sports are kite surfing, windsurfing, riding Harleys, shooting sports, and deep-sea fishing.

I play the guitar and the electric bass and have played the bass on a record.

Please Consider My Experience When Voting in 2004.

Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 11:10 AM by Minnesota_Lib
“I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the Scarmouche.”

Republican supporters gave me a ranch just before the 2000 elections so I could project the image of a rugged cowboy (actually, up until now I've always lived in urban settings and I'm deathly afraid of horses). I started taking “traditional” family vacations to the ranch shortly after taking office just to get away from all those annoying terrorist attack warnings from all those security folks like Richard Clark. Jeeze, can’t a man get some peace?

I have a cute nickname for my Texas spread: Rancho Pretendo.

I heard some poor dumb fundamentalist Christian bastard whining on the radio because the evil Muslims have been attacking "Christian owned Liquor Stores" in Iraq. I could not believe my ears.

I can say the following:

If your friend is under age 12, he can be excused for being too young to know any better.

if your friend is over the age of 12, he/she is an idiot.

I've read "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" reports that are written better than this.

More truthful, too.
