This is ridiculous, Clinton was persecuted, yes that's right I said 'persecuted', because of one affair. The Conservatives persecuted him and this disabled his abilities to fight terror, for this I hold the Conservatives personally responsible for some factors that led up to 9/11. Clinton was a great President though, and he could have made a greater stand against terror if the Conservatives weren't always out to get him and possibly 9/11 would not have happened if Clinton wasn't always being persecuted.

Bush however has serious issue after serious issue, here's just a few:
Valerie Plame
The war in Iraq
9/11
Halliburton profitting from the war

If Clinton had done any of these they would try to impeach him, we should kick Bush out in a referendum or impeachment trial as soon as possible.

1. It's that damn...............
"Liberal Media". They tell us what's news and what isn't. Clinton's penis was the biggest (no pun intended) threat to America, EVER! Bush's transgressions pale in comparison.

2. Yeah, try getting the s**tbags that represent us..
..in the House and Senate to go along with any of that. As far as I am concerned, those legislators that are supposedly on our side that have sat and done nothing for the past four years are just * enablers.

3. That, friend, is the 64 thousand dollar question.
Many, many theories abound. Most likely it's a combination of ingredients: the concentration of media power in a few conservative hands (contrary to popular myth about "that damn liberal media") - Republicans in power in Congress protecting one of their own - extreme ruthlessness on the part of Bush's handlers - Bush benefitting from diminishing expectations for public officials - and some degree of "scandal burnout" on the part of the American public. That's just a few off the top of my head.

5. The Orwellian Question of the Citizen of Totalitarianism
"Why is it Communist/Nazi/Tonton Macoute/Khmer Rouge/Republican Party Members are seldom, if EVER prosecuted for crimes that Opposition Members get destroyed for?"

Same thing, really.

Now, I have no illusions about Old America, it wasn't perfect but it was better than this Totalitarianism of Imperial Amerika.

But this is the key question to answer. It just is what it is.

It is the nature of Tyranny and Tyrants of all political sides.

There is no answer, really, except how to stop it.

6. Because Clinton was, and is
smarter than them, he empowered women and minorities, he looked out for those of us who are "mainstream America", he wasn't afraid of hard work. Basically, he was one of us. He worked his tail off to achieve success where bush and co. had it handed to them. And possibly the biggest factor of all, SEX SELLS! The owners of media companies in this country want one thing and one thing only and thats profit. The hell with the public's right to know, we want money! That should be the motto.

10. The Status Quo.
The cronyistic networks are very strong. People don't get promoted to the highest positions in this country based on meritocracy. They get there based on cronyism & patronage. If you have the right look, say the right things, and give your obedience to the right people, life is good.

There are alot of mediocre people making good money, simply because they have affable personalities at the country club, or because they're willing to do the dirty work for those in power. Anyone who threatens this status quo is going to become a target.
