If 911 didn't happen, Bush would have nothing so show for his reelection. Now, he plays off of the tradegy and people are either too stupid or are staunch republicans where anything goes.

1. From Teachers I know and have spoken to
He messed up the education system by underfunding his own plan, the 'no child left behind' act. From what they say it will take years to fix it and to get the education system back to where it was 4 years ago so it can finally move forward to keep up with other countries education systems.

8. The states have had to come up with
the money to keep the 'wonderful' program working. And they don't have the funds.

MAILBAG: Unless 'No Child' gets funded, children will be left behind

WASHINGTON - In North Dakota, when you say that you will pay for something, you pay for it. This common-sense philosophy unfortunately has been turned on its head when it comes to the way the federal government supports education.

When Congress passed the administration's No Child Left Behind Act in 2001, the education reform effort was heralded by both Democrats and Republicans alike. In exchange for increased accountability, No Child Left Behind was a promise to America's parents, educators and children that our federal government would provide an historic investment in our nation's public schools.

The problem is that the federal government has not provided schools with the funding it promised. This year, funding for No Child Left Behind Act programs falls more than $7.5 billion short of the resources called for in the act, translating into a $19 million shortfall for North Dakota. At the same time, the act demands that schools meet expensive new federal requirements.

Simply put, the federal government has broken its promise of fully funding No Child Left Behind and is now asking our schools to do much more with less.

his plans are:

* control through chaos
* limiting personal freedoms
* favor the wealthy over the middle class and less fortunate
* divide the country through religion
* grease the industrial military complex

and soo much more

5. not stupid, just brainwashed
By Fox, CNN, and the rest of the Corporate MassMedia.

Plus, we've had 30+ years of the RW mantra about Democrats - "liberals bad" - "Democrats weak on defense" - "Democrats, big spenders" - "liberals hate God" - "Democrats raise taxes"

6. He has successfully gutted our environmental laws.
He has provided a massive kickback of government money to his campaign contributors. He has appointed numerous idealogues to the federal bench. He has borrowed huge amounts of money from generations of Americans yet unborn.

10. He's taken more vacations than any other president in history of the U.S.
You know, he works so hard and he deserves those vacations.

Sorry, feeling sarcastic today.

11. He's done one good thing I'd bet everyone here applauds.....
More correctly he didn't do something..........

He didn't veto the "No Call" list stopping home phone solicitations for people who don't want them. Now he had nothing to do with coming up with the idea. A couple a congressman did but give The AWOL/Moron credit or maybe he was on vacation then, too but had he'd vetoed that bill he'd be 100% perfect.
