1. Consistent surge ... no bounce needed
Kerry was ahead before the convention and he leads after the convention. Bouncing is only for those who have ground to make up.

3. Why the fuck was anyone here buying into the idea that there WOULD
be a big bounce? It was a Republican set-up to destroy expectations. As for polls, ignore them even when they're good (which for the most part they are). Work like you're ten points behind no matter WHAT the polls say.

4. Something tells me this election will not even be close. . .
It's pretty damn tough to make chicken salad out of chicken shit twice in a row.

As Larry Flynt (Hustler) has said that since September 2003: "Americans were waking up and smelling something other than the coffee."

6. My Aunt voted Gore
last time and will vote Bush this time. (she voted for Clinton in 1996 and Perot in 1992). They are out there--but not very many. I read a poll somewhere that said 8-10 percent of people who voted for Bush last time will go for Kerry this time--and that about 4% of those who voted for Gore will vote for Bush. So--we are going to be ahead by any measure.
