AP: Cheney blames Democrats for HIGH OIL prices...HAHA - Funniest EVER!
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 03:11 PM by jackstraw45
Wow, that Halliburton stooge Dick is one hilarious mass murderer. The oil on his lips aren't ever dry but believe it or not, Cheney is truly trying to blame democrats for high oil prices. I just laughed my ass off.

I'd like to meet the IDIOTS who believe this crap. I'd like to sell them some beach propterty for $1 million. The property is, of course, a handful of sand but they'd buy it.

REMEMBER: It's not about the oil, it's about the CONTRACTS to extract the oil - that's where the $$$$ is for Cheney and his Haliburton stooges.

3. Bwahahahahahaha!!!
Get this:

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Vice President Dick Cheney said Tuesday that rising consumption and decreasing domestic production have led to high gasoline prices but also blamed his Democratic opponents and their opposition to the Bush administration's energy policies.

Golly Crashcart! You'd think the Democrats are in control, or have held secret meetings with fatcat oil and energy executives.

Cheney you, Dick.

4. OK, let me get this right.
Resisting drilling in ANWR, which would take 2 years to proudce 6 months of the bunker oil we sell to Japan is raising prices NOW?

OK, that does it. Cheney is insane.

5. What a joke.
"We have put ourselves into a box. The only thing I can think of to do is to keep pushing for a comprehensive energy policy," (Cheney) said.

Um, what exactly was all that hubbub for, Dick? Remember your SECRET MEETINGS where you were supposed to formulate this energy policy? The ones you refuse to release the notes on? Maybe if you'd let us see them, we could find out exactly what items you proposed to help fight oil dependence that those darn mean Democrats defeated.

6. The more he pushes this ANWR fantasy the more idiotic he looks
ANWR would be nothing but a drop in the bucket compared to our needs!

He lives in a fantasy world where ANWR will solve all our energy problems and Saddam and AQ were working together. He is a doddering old fool who's growing battier by the day - I'm surprised they even let this idiot speak in public. He's a walking catastrophe.

14. I was asking myself a question about the rating. IT IS SO RIDICULOUS
I would like for reasonable people to read it. But then we have all those unreasonable people... I have a friend that is very nice, really compasionate... and a republican. And she gave me that answer a long time ago, when I said that the Arctic should be off limits because what the reserves there would provide is so little that it would not SOLVE any problems and leave the area totally damaged... She said our economic reasons trump nature!!!!!! Then I said that you could obtain much more of an advantage by enacting the CAFE standards for fuel consumption for automobiles... She said: that is not what Americans want so who are the politicians to impose their will on the American public....
I have not talked t her in a long time...

16. He should blame Dems for the Iraq invasion, too.
Oh wait- he does.

Invading was the right thing to do. But it's Clinton's fault.

We're safer today because of Bush's policies. But we're in such peril that we may have to postpone the elections.

You need drugs to believe all this shit at once. I think that's why Rush took up the pills.

18. I READ TODAY THAT OIL MAY GO TO $100 A BARREL
That would mean double what we are paying now. I don't know that it really would add up to that but I'm sure the oil companies will take us for all we are worth.

25. Their own study doesn't even support that argument
via Talking Points Memo:

Yet, the Energy Department's own study of the bill -- a study requested by Senator John Sununu (R-NH) -- said its effect on prices, even years into the future, would be "negligible".
