Can you help me ? - Today Show today.
I was making the kids breakfast and I overheard an interview - maybe Katie Couric with someone who wrote a book. It sounded very interesting but I was still half asleep and did not catch the author or the book title.

The book sounded like it slammed Bu$h about environmental issues. The author talked about how he passes bills called things like 'The Clean Air Act' anything that sounds like he is doing something, but he actually has passed more bills in disguise, that hurt the environment, more than any other president ever has.

Who is the author and what is the book title? Anyone know? Thanks!

2. It was Robert Kennedy
He talked about bush letting the industries make the rules concerning the requirements. He allows the coal company exec to write the leg etc and make the guidelines. They shut him up pretty quickly. Just when he was on a roll. Better we should pay more attention to the guy who hacked up his wife, Kobe Bryant and Peterson. All the news that is fit to print. And he was on after 9:00. Got to sweep that under the rug. He told the woman that everything in his book is true. It wasn't stupid Katie and I don't think it was campbell brown.

8. I saw him on C-span as a re run the other day... he and his book
were awesome. He just ripped a huge hole in the connection between the big corps cronism with government and real sound evironmental concerns. It was great.

3. Robert Kennedy Jr. is awesome!

He looks like his father, thinks like his father and is making a beautiful footprint on the sands of our environment!

He is absolutely a raising star.

Compassionate just like his father.

4. He got some bad publicity, though.

He fought vigorously to stop wind-power turbines in the Atlantic - visaible from his family compound. Sounded a little pro-environment, but NIMBY, to a lot of people.

5. Thanks one and all.
That was it, it was Kennedy. I hate when I am half asleep and taking care of the kids. I really need to be more alert when I am trying to fight the good fight.

The reason it stood out is that I was listening to Rush yesterday. (keep your friends close and your enemies closer) And, of course, El Windbag was talking trash about Kerry. He said how he doesn't even make sense and you have to be insane to even follow what Kerry says.

Anyway, El Windbag says that Kerry answered one question with another question saying why are we talking about this when 1 in 4 black kids in NY have asthma. I did not know what it was from and thought it was weird. I may not have even paid as much attention to this book today only that Kennedy said the same thing in regards to our environment!

It seems to me that Kerry does not want to come out and bash Bu$h. Let's face it, we are too nice as a political group. Perhaps we should pay more attention to what Kerry says and research it. He may just be leaving us a trail of breadcrumbs to follow. If we want to get him elected, we have a duty to follow up on all of this and get it out to everyone we know and out on the net.

Guess this is one comment that will blow up in old windbag's face!

Thanks, again.

6. I apologize if this is a stupid question, but is there
something wrong with Kennedy's voice?
