would you?

Or do you relish daily campaign soundbite/media fest that the next 90 days will bring.

(i might choose the cave, but I have volunteered to host local Kerry meet-ups)

Its going to be rough, though. * will do anything to win!!!

1. I'd take Haldal if I hadn't been clean and sober 20 years.
A cave sounds enticing, as my head feels like it's gonna explode and it's only August. Find a nice cave, I'll join ya.

3. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!! Me too!
LOL---->Haldal

I've been so deeply involved in this campaign and the whole mess that GW has caused since he arrived... my nerves are SHOT. I've done my part, and do my part for Kerry but Hoo, boy.... I need a nice quiet place real quick. :hangover:

I took most of today off and hope to head to the beach this weekend.

2. The debates are not to be missed
They'll be very entertaining for our side. But yes, anything to avoid having to watch * cheney-up the country in the next 3 months would be a good thing.

this stuff. Shrub has me terrified, he is insane and god knows what he will do next. Add to that a personal fight against the destructive politics of the admin that I am involved in and, yes, a cave would be wonderful.

Just give me a flashlight and a blanket and let me know when I need to come out to vote.

I call it the armadillo syndrome, I just want to ball up in one large ball and hopefully all the preditors (especially *&Co.) will go away.

5. I want the nightmare over

so that would November 3rd. I don't know if my anxiety medication is gonna take me through. (actually I'm anti-pill, pro-booze, but you can't be drunk for 90 days straight, can you?)

Opps I forgot about the voting, like duh, because I'm smug we do it mail in style here in OR, so that means I can pop out around October 25th, drop it at the library, renew my books and go back.

I enjoy analysis as much as the next junkie if not more, but I'm like the guy who posted, how can I live in a country with 40% that want *?
It's a disgrace. I want it OVER.

8. If not a cave, at least a dark-screened television...
Starting Saturday, I have wanted to ignore all media coverage of this campaign. I do want to tune out all the negativity and lies first from the Pugs, then picked up by the media. I felt so energized after Kerry’s great speech on Thursday and what I thought was the best Democratic Convention since 1960. Less then week later, it feels like that was a long time ago. We are in for the same attacks as Gore had to endure. Please Dems fight back this time. Do not let the fabrications and ridicule get set in the concrete of the voters’ minds as before. Kerry is too good of a candidate and this is too important of an election to let them chew him up the way they did Gore. What makes it really rough is when no one articulates our side effectively.

That is what was so great about last week. It was the repeated expression of the vision of what the United States can be, what we the people of this country can become that made the convention so moving to me. I want this campaign to keep that vision before the voters and to strongly, competently, and repeatedly yell from the rooftops of all media the truth about the repug lies. Then we will get through these next three months with colors flying and victory ahead.
