Is Anybody Else Sick To Death of The Criminal Cases Being Publicized?
I rarely watch tv any more. I'm on overload. But every so often I do take a peek just to see what's going when a big issue comes up.

I'm used to the drill. I see one thing, "they" report something else. Everywhere I go, people are complaining about Bush, but everytime I peek on the boobtube, they tell me Bush is ahead.

I saw Kerry exceed beyond all expectation at the convention. It was brilliant and well executed. He kept his mouth shut the whole campaign. So much to the point where I was a little disappointed. But he unveiled it all so grandly at the convention, revealing a deeper and more long-term strategy. He let the others take the heat in getting the ideas and concepts out there, and then he polished them off nicely in his speech. He proved himself "presidential" whatever that means. Like a good lawyer, he claimed best perch from which to fight, by seizing the opponents issues first.

So, I try and peek at the boobtube just to see how they're handling this extraordinary development. I get all this Hacking/Peterson/Bryant/Jackson bullshit. I mean really, in times like these, who the hell cares? I just saw Kerry kick the shit outta Bush and the republicans, and I want to see them eat crow.

So finally, after all the attention to the criminal cases, I finally get to see some news about the convention. But what do I get?
Another damn terror alert. Jeeeeeeez! They don't even respect us enough to fake it anymore. Pissing on us and telling us it's rain.

Do people in the non-specific areas even know what this last terror alert did to people in the "targeted" locations? The sight of the military/law enforcement everywhere. Checkpoints, closed bridges, law enforcement with full gear in subways. Not so much as a whimper from the population. Totally irresponsible. Both on the part of the Bush administration, and the subjected populations.

After more criminal trial bullshit, out comes the little tidbit about Kerry not getting a "bounce" as they put it. I knew full well that they would lie about the numbers, but damn, they disrespect us so bad, that they had the nerve to say "no bounce."

Does anyone in their right mind really believe that Kerry got no bump outta that convention!? They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
It's time we really take it seriously folks. Stop laughing at the "tinfoil hat" people. We are living through open and notorious mass mind manipulation. It's very open. They don't even care that the population knows that it's being manipulated, they use that to there advantage by telling you it's the other guy that's doing the manipulating.

We gotta get back a free press. Absolutely critical from here on out.
Can you imagine the different world it would be had the "news" reported things as they should be. That Kerry kicked the shit out of Bush and Bush doesn't have a chance in hell of being voted into the White House.

I wrote on another thread where a person was asking why wall street wanted republicans to win since history always shows the market doing better under democrats. I wrote that the reason they like republicans, is that regulations are rescinded when they are in power. What regulations they have to leave, they enforce in a lax manner.

The same is true with regard to our press. I mean, I'm already feeling funny about calling it "our" press. Clearly it doesn't belong to us anymore. When you get no regulations, you wind up with a couple of people controlling the entire media. From the magazines you read, the newspapers, the television stations, the movies, the radio, ... what's left? Thank goodness for the internet. So far...

1. They fail to report on the crime that impacts everyone's lives.

Like the crimes of the Neo-Cons. That get hardly any coverage. And yes, I'm sick of all this Lacy Peterson shit. I has nothing to do with my life at all.

2. Yes. I'm also tired of endless stories about kidnapped or lost
pretty little girls, pregnant women, etc. These crimes are happening by the hundreds every day. But, when the media wants a filler, they will focus on a case that is likely to hold audience attention.

And please, let's either prosecute Lacey Peterson's husband or let the bastard off. I'm sick of hearing about it.

3. Well at least they stopped the non-stop shark thing they were doing to
distract us from their build-up to 9-11 and the planned invasion of Afghanistan.

Remember the endless shark attacks and crotch sniffing (of Democrats) prior to their attack against our nation on 9-11?
