The First Picture of the New Reagan $10 Bill (DU Exclusive)
Edited on Tue Aug-03-04 10:57 PM by Mortos
Here it is folks, the new Reagan $10. It looks just like regular ten but, just like the man who inspired it, it has some special qualities. It comes pre-wrinkled. The portrait has a holographic saftey feature that, when tilted, makes Reagan appear to fall asleep, just like he did in important cabinet meetings. But the most important feature of the bill is that they will be given out freely to anyone who asks. The recipients can then spend them, just like regular cash, but, and here's the good part, the things they "spend" the money on don't actually have to be paid for until the next generation. That's right! The debt you acquire with the Reagan ten, or the "Dutch" is paid by your children or grandchildren (unless a fiscally conservative Democrat is elected and then the debt will be paid in full).

Keep an eye out for the next in the US Treasury Departments line of Presidential bills inspired by presidents who spent us in to huge deficits. The next in the series is a George W. Bush $100 bill.

1. out of respect for
Ron Jr., I won't comment. The present administration is the one I'm really worried about. Nice work though.

4. I look forward to
the $100 GW bill. And I agree the supply sider advance begun by RR is dangerous to our economic stability.

7. Ron loves his Daddy.
But he also knows he was full of shit. And he also knows about the death toll from AIDS Reagan contributed to by refusing to fund AIDS research. If he prays at night it is probably to say "Satan, please don't be too hard on my Dad."
