9. Cheney & energy task force

I just had my heating oil tank filled, & it used about the same amt as last time period, but cost about 1/3 more than before. and regular gas around here is $1.83. could we expect any differnt from a guy in the WH whose all co. went busted? or go Cheney yourself who is at least friendly w/ some oil barons.

the good peeps who are trying to get the minutes of Cheney's secret mtg. should give it up. we now know pretty well what that 'plan' was.

5. The Energy Bill is still not passed

That's Cheney's excuse. He's saying that if the energy bill were passed, we would be doing more domestic drilling and wouldn't have supply problems from foreign oil.

Which is, of course, a big pile of BS. And he knows it. The Bushies' own Energy Dept. did a study that showed that increasing domestic oil drilling (which is already past it's peak, btw) would have little to no effect on oil prices, even over the long term.

Cheney is lying. Again.
