8. Martina McBride

That song is about domestic abuse...LMAO. It has nothing to do with "American freedom"...The wife rubbed out her abusive husband.

McBride is a pain in the ass...she actually has a lot of songs that are very "progressive in nature", one song about giving money to a poor person, songs about women, etc....

It was sad to see here trotted out for Hannity's hate fest. Then again, in country ... you "stay in the closet"...You either promote your Conservatism or you "hide" your Liberalism.

I have heard Reba and Garth are both Democrats as well as Trisha Yearwood, Sawyer Brown, and Charlie Daniels. That isn't taking into account rebels like Willie and Steve Earle.

Country music today is complete horseshit and its probably because no one can freely express themselves.

13. Charlie Daniels is a hard-core freeper
Ever see his entries on his website?

Totally rips apart Hollywood liberals. Wraps himself in the flag.

Released a racist tune called "This ain't no rag, it's a flag".

20. Reba is an ass
I lost all respect for her after her comment about the Dixie Chicks. When everyone was destroying the DC cd's Reba said something like "Well they should no when to keep their mouths shut"

The Chicks deserve a full apology from everyone in the country music business.

6. Toby Keith claims to be a democrat...
...and has expressed doubts about the usefulness of the Iraq war (but has not apologized for putting up demeaning images of Natalie Maines and Saddam at his concerts)

Hopefully his time hanging out with and smokinn' "Willie's grass" has gotten through to him a little...

Wayne Newton is just a clueless Vegas lizard who sings like a girl. Danke Schöen for NUTHIN'!

16. A lot of conservative dems were fooled by the "Compassionate Conservative"
in 2000. Not today. I haven't heard of Keith endorsing anybody this year. I'll always despise him as a musician for his hideously ugly and jingoistic "Put a Boot in Yer Ass" song, though.

24. Oh...Toby Keith NOW having doubts about the Illegal invasion?
Why...I thought just before Chimps Oil War started that TK was Bush's number one boot licker.

But..cow poke singers JUST love a good War,they can write a dozen patriotic tear jerker songs and make millions all the time our kids are getting killed for NOTHING.

12. Remember Born in the USA

And how the idiot Repukes thought it was about something it wasn't. It was about Vietnam Vet getting crushed by economic ruin (I think). They thought it was some sort of celebration of the flag and faith and the American way. It was a critique of Raygun's America.

What bozos. I guess the Sex Pistols "God Save the Queen" is about protecting the sanctity of the monarchy. LMAO...

17. Bruce had a nice comeback to that
During a show, he said that Reagan was a fan of his music. He said he wasn't sure what song it was that Reagan liked, but 'it probably wasn't this one'. He then blasted into "Nebraska".

19. Bruce Will Be Great!
My son and I can't wait to see this thing and I suspect it's gonna get bigger.

Wanna bet Neil Young, another former "Compassionate Conservative" whose come home will be back, and I hear he's pissed (so what else is new?)...I'd request: "I've Seen The Bush & The Damage Done"...LOL

Springsteen has been very outspoken against the regime and bridges a lot of the rock spectrum...including even frepers. Who can deny the passion in his "My City Is Gone"...his 9/11 tribute song, or Philadelphia or...opps, now we get into song that will make them hate themselves if they actually listened to the lyrics...LOL.

My favorite Bruce line is the opening to his version of Edwin Starr's "War" back in the 80's..."Blind Obedience Will Get You Killed..."...

Cheers!
