Interesting concept of friend and partner, don't you think?

Article after article about alQuaeda et. al. in Pakistan. They seem to have training camps there. And a whole lot of "important to Bush" members seem to be coming from there.

I noticed when Townsend came out with her announcement re: the new terror alert she referred to Pakistan as our strong partner.

So, these tapes and videos are coming out of Pakistan - I wonder really how valid they could be?

We need somebody with the savvy to deal with a complicated, nuclear-armed country with a mix of moderate and extremist Muslims, next door to Afghanistan and India, full of macho attitudes, poverty, fundamentalist generals, democratic yearnings, a textile industry that desperately needs our business and a military that desperately wants our war planes.
