One man can not make a difference in this case of the warnings.
I just got home, turned on the TV, and nearly screamed at all the new terror alerts. It is almost as if they are saying "in your face" to Dean and to the country.

I realized that one person speaking out is useless. They have set their agenda, and it is fear and terror. One man caused the dialogue to begin this week, but they just called "more terror" on us.

It will take more speaking out, and doing it right now. If we do not yell out about it now, it will just go on. Now other Democrats have to step in and keep the dialogue going. They just have to do it.

Please, somebody. You can not stop something if you do not address it. Two neighbors just said today that they are so angry about the alerts and the fear that they would just leave the country if they could. And only one man has had the guts to say...."Enough!"

And he is being left hanging, and so are we.

7. He really surprised me that he did not say more.
I told my hubby he could watch, I was going back on computer. He watched another minute or so, then he changed channels.

9. Ex presidents play the "statesmen" role

and rarely get into partisan politics, so "big dawg" doing
as much as he did is breaking with "tradition". I didn't expect
either Clinton or Kerry to call them on it.

All of the NEW terra warnings are simply more bullshit being
leaked out every time someone says "wait a minute, could this
be political?"

Item. Files on the disk were recently updated, as recent as
Jan 2004. Debunk... turns out some files were accessed in Jan
2004... and that doesn't mean shit... specifically it doesn't mean
that they were looked at by humans.

Item. Al Qaeda has contacted someone or a number of people HERE
in the good ol' USA... could they be going OPERATIONAL??? Debunk...
Ok, they would not need to contact anyone here to set a prearranged
plan into motion... much safer to post a innocuous signal somewhere,
like a porn web site, and have your operational group routinely
surf that site looking for the signal(s), much like 100,000 other
horny bastards just looking for free porn. Besides, it would not
surprise me that al Qaeda or al Qaeda sympathizers wouldn't call
each other every damn day... why not, especially if they do not
believe themselves to be on a watch list, aren't calling over a
unscrambled sat phone from a cave in Tora Bora? If they are in,
say, Turkey or Spain, or England or Japan... why not call their
contacts in the US and shoot the shit (how's the weather? Fine.
Are you coming home for XXX... Yeah, but I'm bringing 2 friends.
Do you need some extra money?... Yeah, 500 would be enough to
buy the tickets... blah blah blah). Xlate - How is security
around your primary target? It won't be a problem. Are you ready
to execute your plan? We are ready to go but need 2 more weeks.
Do you need more resources? Yeah, send us $100,000 to buy more
trucks and fuel oil and fertilizer.

Is that going on now. You got to believe it is. Every damn day.

Is the "terror warning" political or to let the citizens know
to "be on the look out"... but be on the look out for what?
Strangers in DC in the summer with cameras? OMG, that little
blond girl over there is a TERRORIST... she is taking a picture
of a BANK!

This is crap. All of the terror warnings have been crap.

3. That is great, Will! I will be sending this around.
Well said. I am so angry today from all the obvious, idiotic, blather and stupid-speak coming from every channel, I could scream.

I want to see our Democrats out there yelling that enough is enough. We are letting a small group take over our peace of mind.

I am going to share your article.

5. It doesn't seem to be working for them though
I listened to the Diane Rehm show this AM and the topic was the most recent terror alerts. Every single caller, every one, said that they thought the terror alerts were politically motivated. BushCo has no credibility left.

8. Would you kind people tell me:
1) what a sig is?

2) how to get someone off my "ignore list". I accidentally added MadFloridian to it trying to find out what the hell a sig is.

Thanks, in advance, for flying Crashlandia Airways!

Stew

10. LOL, I will tell you.
I don't want to be on ignore. :-)

Go to your Inbox, look on the left, go to your ignore list, and delete the name.

I have done that before.

I will let someone else help you with sig lines. I had a hard time with mine.

11. go to 'options' from the icons at the top of a forum
there's 'ignore list' - you can clean it out from there
also under 'options' is 'edit your profile' - you can customize your signature at the bottom
