"Thumbs up" new democratic signal on the road?
I've been getting a lot of "thumbs up" from people on the roads in Atlanta for my Kerry and other democratic stickers.

Several a day for the past week.

Anyone else?

3. I would love it if Georgia went Democratic again.

I hope Max Cleland will campaign across Georgia for Kerry. I don't believe Max lost in 2002.

10. I think chambliss was not so bad - the party screwed max
I know a woman who worked on saxby's campaign and was appalled at the GOP funded ads that bashed max.

9. all kinds of cars - mine is on a honda
not too many BMW's or posh cars where I live generally. This is what surprised me - I mean I live in a place where I saw a guy "improve" his trailer by putting a tuffshed next to it and cutting a hole in the side to link it to his trailer with black trash bags and duct tape as a roof. rural georgia is usually a republican hotbed, but just yesterday all the stickers I saw (apart from one) were for kerry

5. Happens here in Ohio, I'm on the road all the time
At first I didn't realize what was going on, I thought people were just being stupid when they were behind me lol. I get a fair amount of middle fingers as well which I am more than happy to return. But the back of my taurus right now looks like a campaign vehicle, my fiance even though she is strongly anti-bush thinks I have desecrated my new car.

6. Today in Portland
I pulled up to a stoplight in the middle of a three lane road. To my left was an "Anybody But Bush" sticker and to my right a "Regime Change Begins at Home -- Vote!" sticker. I had my circle/slash "no W" sticker. I was hoping there was a Rethug behind us. Also, the Kerry stickers were too numerous to count. Unfortunately I had to go to a mall in a suburb and saw a car bedecked with W/flag/"I support our troops and our president stickers." I wrote a note outlining very rationally why Dumbass is the worst president in modern history and left it on their windshield.

7. We don't have bumper stickers, but I am SO proud of my hubby
because on the way home from church we always pass over a noontime bridge brigade of peace protestors. I always wave at them, but this last weekend he actually gave them a honk. :D

11. I have been wearing my Kerry Edwards button PROUDLY>>>
I like the thumbs up idea... I will start telling all my Democratic friends. When this spreads across the U.S... you can say "I thought of that!!"

I umpire softball and wore my button last night during the four games I officiated. One team had chimp backers and questioned my choice But... weren't rude or disrespectful. A couple of others said I was backing the right guy...:-)

12. Me too!
Once behind me honked, then when I looked in the rear-view mirror she outlined the shape of a bumper sticker with her fingers and gave a thumbs-up.
