Ted Rall: "America's Last War" Are we up for Iran yet?
Here is Ted's lastest piece on Bushco's never ending fishing expedition for weaker nations to invade, occupy, and rob blind.

He's right about NK, they're the nation state version of the Far Side's "Natures way of saying BACK OFF" porcupine toon.

Syria? Not enough oil and they actually have air defences so we can't just fly over and bomb cities so easiliy like in de-fanged Iraq.

"Last week's column described the Bushies' lame attempts to link Iran to 9/11. My prediction that they would float new rationales for war after Iran-Al Qaeda failed to catch on has already come to pass. Now Administration gofer Colin Powell (news - web sites) is accusing Iran of--you guessed it--trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction. The Bushies claim Iran's nuclear power plants could easily be converted into facilities for manufacturing weapons. "It is our judgment that Iran is developing nuclear weapons and a nuclear weapons program, and we'll all have to take note of this," Powell said on July 29."

It just never stops with these fascist assholes, does it?

Well I suppose a draft, WWIII and economic collapse, might do it but damned that'll be ugly...

1. Looks Like A Recent Jump In The Hydrocarbon Index
indicates that a preemptive war to protect us from the Iranian evildoers is now mandatory.

"July 14 brought an announcement that a new oil field second in scale only to Saudi Arabia's legendary Ghawar facility had been discovered there. "Iran possesses far larger oil reserves than previously thought," writes Hooman Peimani in the Asia Times."

Oh, yea, they also hate us for our freedom.

2. Iraq's proving to be a tough nut

to crack. So I'm guessing the old US of A will have to liberate the Cubans from that mean old Castro who we all know is "worse than Hitler". Should be an easier go and the troops can go home on weekends.
