4. She is in Santa Ana.
That county always goes repug. Was raised there and spent 15 some odd years in South Orange County, totally conservative, white, and lots of fundies.

6. Santa Ana, parts of Anaheim, etc

South COunty is still much more conservative due to cultural and racial demographics and financial status.

Other parts are much more diverse with Hispanics, Vietnamese, etc.

With relative birth rates being what they are, it is likely that it will change both gradually and at some point even flip.

7. Diebold machines not used in OC

Hart Intercivic

Have the same audit trail and general issues as all the evoting machines but not the recent problems and scandals with the Diebold ones.

I was a precinct inspector for the primary and there were minor issues, mostly about voter familiarity and comfort with them, but nothing major.
