1. I hope John Stewart calls him out

2. He didn't "support" anything. Nothing can be proven so he's not
going to get into that game. That's for the attack dogs like Dean to raise doubt. He quickly got by that and went on to bash Bush about not taking 4 extra weeks before going to war. He hit a few other points, too.

Clinton never says anything without good reason. You have to see the bigger picture.

3. Big Dawg Was Really Disappointing Last Night. For the first
time I believed that there might be some truth to him not really wanting Kerry to win, and positioning for Hillary in 2008. I have vehemently disagreed with this theory til his appearance last night. I really lost my buzz hearing him.

4. You "really lost your buzz"?
Hm. A brilliant reason for a former President to start attacking a current President, in a thoroughly unprecedented fashion, on a high-emotion issue like terorism.

...alternate uuuuniversssseeeee....

"I was going to take the high road and make sure not to hand the Republicans a bunch of talking points while gaining no real ground," said Clinton after attacking Bush as a liar and a fraud, "but dammit, redstateliberal woulda lost his buzz. We can't have that."

Note to self: Thank Jesus every night, verbally and in writing, that DU is not managing the Kerry campaign.

(thank you jesus)

7. The buzz I had from his brilliant speech on that Mon. night.

I've been a big fan- but his support for Kerry was so tepid that it made me wonder.

9. Who Should Call Them Out For "Fabricating Evidence"
If the leaders of the party don't. Howard Dean had balls, but he's not really speaking for anyone in an official capacity. I enjoyed your article but I don't understand how you can make such a convincing case for the fabrication of evidence, but then give Bill Clinton a pass for going so easy on them. Let's get real, the Republicans already think Clinton killed Vince Foster, so whatever thay say about him is just more of the same. However,I did enjoy the condescending cheap shot you took at me.

6. What did he say about Bush on Letterman? Did he say he was ok?
I did not listen after he failed to speak up at the beginning.

8. There is no pay off for going negative on Bush on the frickin Letterman
show. None. Nada. All that would do would be focus attention away from the Kerry campaign and shift the focus from Kerry to Clinton in a negative manner. I am sure he is aware that he remains a very polarizing figure to many people. His speech was wonderful because he used a stiletto instead of a meat cleaver. I know what everyone here, including myself would love to hear him say but I also know that DU isn't microcosm of the general population. While I think that is unfortunate cause gosh knows we're right it just would not have been smart politics.
