Does a pre-Nov. attack in America mean bu*sh wins or loses ?
Not looking for personal opinions here,
looking for a link to some authoratative data that states
which would be more likely to help bu*sh "win the election".

It seems like it would be a given like Global warming,
there must be some prevailing thinking that says which way it is.

So is there info somewhere that states with some credibility what happens
if there is an another attack on America like the one in Spain before the Nov. election ?

1. It Would Think That He Would Lose...
...becasuse people would realize that all he did has not made us any safer - just less free.

2. Hard to authoritatively prove a hypothetical.....
But given how close the polls/voting/opinions are now with these two, even a slight rally round the flag bounce would be enough for bush to take it.

3. "prove a hypothetical" are you talking about the elections or an attack ?
Just kidding, well wishing it was a joke anyway.

4. it depends on the gonads of the Kerry campaign
If they jump right on it and suggest that bush failed to protect us, then Kerry wins.

5. There is no "authoritative data." There is only the lesson of history.
And history has shown us that Americans rally around their leader in times of trouble.

Bush was at 41% before 9/11. On 9/12 he had 90%. American's don't think when they feel threatened. They only rally.

6. No question it is a big time help for Bush
Our media will tell us that we must rally 'round the flag that our glorious War President has wrapped himself in.

They will keep pounding away at that message and also, "if we vote out Bush, the terrorists will have won" message and, "don't be like those sissies in Spain."
