the lies are so glaringly obvious now, it's almost comical. bushco is all lies, all the time, with the bushco media echoing the lies.
believe me, a good lie is appreciated by all, but these phony terror alert lies and al qaeda lies are so transparent and unbelievable, only the extremely uneducated and stupid will fall for them. but, i guess that's the whole point.

2. I don't think they are even trying to "lie effectively" anymore
I swear, this 'disonance' is MEANT to make us all insane with rage. They know we won't "do" anything -- except all the things we've always done: vote, organize, protest. But they know when it comes down to it, THEY have the 'big guns'. WE paid for them of course, but they own 'em.

4. Sometimes their lies confuse me so much, I think it's a tactic of theirs.
They'll tell lies that directly oppose one another. It's hard to keep track!

For instance, telling the world for months, in so many ways, that Al Qaeda and Saddam are one and the same and implicating Saddam in 9-11(remember when Bush said that you "can't distinguish" between Bin Laden/Al Qaeda and Saddam?).

Then, when the facts make it obvious and somebody finally presses the issue, they're forced to admit that there is no evidence that Iraq had anything to do with 9-11.

Then, turning around and still making the implication, repeatedly!

It makes my head spin! I think they're just trying to confuse us, keep the target moving...

5. And Clinton was impeached for lying about a blowjob.
Edited on Thu Aug-05-04 11:01 AM by Cat Atomic
It's been said a million times, but it still blows me away. The Bush Administration lies about EVERYTHING. Even when they could just as easily tell the truth, they lie.

Remember Bush's biking accident? When Bush's people said it had been raining, but it hadn't?

Or Powell's bogus terrorism report, claiming terrorism is at an all-time low, when in fact it's at an all-time high?

There are so many more examples. Any ONE of these lies would've got a Democrat impeached.
