AAR "and SO ARE WE."
Edited on Thu Aug-05-04 10:24 AM by khephra
Paraphrased...Bush just said.

Our enemies are never stopping of thinking of ways to hurt our people...and SO ARE WE.

Done on the fly...I don't vouch this as being totally correct.

1. they just played those SWIFT BOAT LIARS
devestating ad, with a BUNCH of people on it saying they SERVED with him! as if being in VietNam at the same time means they actually SERVED with him!

they even have that jagoff who treated him for one of his wounds!

this is without DOUBT the single most disgusting political ad I've EVER heard

EVER!

WHERE ARE THE BUSH AWOL ADS????????

4. where are the
ads that show Bush sitting in that class room on 9-11? They could be worked into your AWOL ad idea.
Also that Swift Boat Liar ad is right up there with the Cleland ad done in 2002, disgusting!!

Have I mentioned how much I hate these people?!!

6. it's MUCH MUCH worse
they have the actual PEOPLE talking about what a LIAR Kerry is, how he was NOT THERE for his men when they NEEDED him, how he did NOT deserve one of his purple hearts (from the MEDIC who treated him)

this has the potential to be VERY damaging for the vast majority of people who don't realized how filthily dishonest this is, since only ONE of those people actually SERVED on the boat with him.

7. good point
I realize it's BS I made the mistake of thinking every one else knows what I do that's my bad. Your correct it does have the potential to do more damage.

I would like to think people aren't going to buy into all these lies, ahhh! and after the eight long years of watching them attack Clinton you'd think that people would. The Cleland ad did, I think, open eyes as to how damn dirty they are I think people will question this ad.
Also, the fact that McCain is out there asking the WH to come out and say hey the swift boat liar ad is wrong about John Kerry and you should condemn it *Bush. The ad has serious potential to blow up in the Republicans faces as it should! As of this posting the WH has not responded to McCains calling them out.

You know what this lying ad tells me they are desperate they have nothing to run on other than attacking Kerry/Edwards and Terror.

'Fear & Smear' that's all they got it's pathetic!

5. It is the worst political ad ever
If we let them get away with it, it'll only get worse. Every one of those guys needs to be slammed, hard up against the wall. Isn't there some universal code of ethics for veterans? Like, "don't lie about your brothers service for political reasons"? IMO, these guys should be stripped of their veterans benefits at the least.
