MUST READ!! *lol* New 'Bushism' Born at Bill Signing
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush offered up a new entry for his catalog of "Bushisms" on Thursday, declaring that his administration will "never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people."

Bush misspoke as he delivered a speech at the signing ceremony for a $417 billion defense spending bill.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said. "They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

No one in Bush's audience of military brass or Pentagon chiefs reacted.

7. Does it matter?
This clown is so hungry for the "sound bite" that he chews on his shoe left and right.

NEVER give the monster a break while he's busy signing away your children's future...in fact, NEVER give the monster a break PERIOD.

8. No, he didn't. He actually TOLD THE TRUTH for once.
That's why nobody reacted. They're out of the habit of recognizing truth when they hear it.

5. I Thought I Heard That
I was watching the signing and the speech... I had just gotten out of bed and I was a little groggy. But I thought I heard him say this...I did a double-take. Then I said...Naw, I must have misheard him. Guess not.

9. Dreamer.
They stole Florida in broad daylight. I don't give the election more than 50/50 odds of going our way, and I think I'm being very optomistic.

15. And Bush really means what he says...
They are not only constantly thinking about how to harm America and our Democracy, they have already started to follow through with it...

- They made us less safe from terrorism.
- They are giving us, our children, and our grandchildren an enormous deficit.
- They are sending our soldiers to die in unnecessary wars.
- They are destroying our environment by catering to big corporations and polluters.
- They are actually selling America to the highest bidder...

16. the quote is in the press release
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/08/20040805-4.html

in context:

Third, this bill meets our commitment to America's Armed Forces by preparing them to meet the threats of tomorrow. Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we. We must never stop thinking about how best to defend our country when we all must always be forward-thinking.

27. Scary
If this had been said by almost anyone else I might have been laughing my ass off. But this display of ineloquence shows either how incredibly inept this excuse for a human being is in even speaking his native language, or it was a freudian slip. I would like to think it is the former but given his misadministration of this nation I am beginning to believe the latter is more likely to be on point.
