Help me out with creepy Bush video
Back in 2000 before the election, I saw a video clip of Bush as governor of Texas mocking condemned murderer Carla Tucker. He was giggling and re-enacting Tucker choking her victim.
Did anyone else see this? Can anyone provide a link?
This deserves to be seen. It's truly disturbing.

1. That's on video? All references I have seen were descriptions of
the incident as described by tucker carlson. That he wrote about it or talked about it somewhere, not actual video of shrub*.

Success in your quest nonetheless!

2. I doubt very much that was video
it was Carlson's interview in Talk Magazine, or whatever that short-lived Tina Brown effort was

the most interesting thing about that was Carlson quoting dumbo as swearing a lot

THEN, Karen Hughes told him that Bush NEVER swears. NEVER

but Carlson HEARD him; recorded him, I think

he went on to call her just about a pathological liar in a Salon interview

wait a minute....this is worth replaying

4. here
...Carlson spotted the "insane" inner workings of the Bush people early on. His 1999 Talk magazine interview with George W. Bush, which depicted an uncensored Dubya swearing like a sailor and mimicking death row inmate Karla Faye Tucker, was, according to Salon, "the most damaging profile of yet written." Drawing "a very, very hostile" response from the Bush campaign, the article prompted Karen Hughes to call Carlson a liar.

"And so I called Karen and asked her why she was saying this," Carlson told Salon. "And she had this almost Orwellian rap that she laid on me about how things she'd heard -- that I watched her hear -- she in fact had never heard, and she'd never heard Bush use profanity ever. It was insane."

"I've obviously been lied to a lot by campaign operatives," Carlson added, "but the striking thing about the way she lied was she knew I knew she was lying, and she did it anyway. There is no word in English that captures that. It almost crosses over from bravado into mental illness."

7. This may have been surprising in 1999...
...but now, that kind of thing seems unsurprising and commonplace. I guess they know that in an environment pretty evenly divided, if they can even get a few percent of people to believe in a transparent lie, when most people have already made up their minds, then that's good enough.

6. Yep. Standard practice for Totalitarian Nation like Imperial Amerika
Where is this US place you are talking about? Are you referring to the archaic and nonexistant nation the United Sates of America?

The United States of America is GONE! Maybe we can restore it, but currently we live in Imperial Amerika, a Totalitarian Nation with Third-World Voting, Justice and Media.

Of COURSE State-Run Media (oh, the channels are convoluted but Sate-Run it is, walking and qaucking like such a duck, it IS that Totalitarian Duck) in Imperial Amerika and every other place liberty and freedom are under attack or nonexistant does that.

Why should Imperial Amerika be any different than our Totalitarian Brethren across the world?

9. OK. I didn't dream this. And neither
did my co-workers. We saw it. There's video. We remember seeing in on a news station. No one else? Bush was governor of Texas.
Or are we all delusional?
Help me, Michael Moore!

10. If you can remember the station you can usually call them and get a copy
of stories shown.

I suggest first asking for a random story around that time, preferably a local feel good story, just to check availability and establish a connection with whomever does that work. They mey also not keep things for 3 plus years.

But Check this out! Bush was really upset when the "grooming" video was out on the Internet...The same footage Moore used. Bush can't be too happy now!
I just love the description here:

14. It kinda bothered me...
...that Moore didn't show more of that footage. I've seen the whole thing and I don't think that the snippet Moore included really gave the full effect of how asinine Bush was acting before announcing that we were going to war.

16. Could be...the video
definitely exists. Or did. May have been scrubbed along with Bush's Guard records.
Wish it could be found and aired. People would see what a bizarre individual their "Christian" leader is behind his mask.

Concerns Raised by the Vatican
by WAYNE MADSEN

http://www.counterpunch.org/madsen04222003.html

"Well-informed sources close to the Vatican report that Pope John Paul II is growing increasingly concerned about Bush's ultimate intentions. The Pope has had experience with Bush's death fetish. Bush ignored the Pope's plea to spare the life of Karla Faye Tucker."

Maybe someone should remind the Pope about this right about now!
