Rebuttal to "In Defense of Internment"

There was some discussion here yesterday about Michelle Malkin's book that tries to defend the Japanese Internment during WW2 (as a stepping stone for arguing that it is okay to round up Arab Americans now).

2. Fuck Malkin

She's a self-hating whore. FYI, Malkin: Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country in the world. Certainly Al Qaeda has Indonesian operatives. When they do something, should we round up all the Indonesians? Just to be safe, shouldn't we round up all Pacific Islanders, including Filipinas LIKE YOU?

3. Greg Robinson

Up near the top, check out Greg Robinson's rebuttal of the importance of the MAGIC excerpts, the basis of Michelle Malkin's book. It's good stuff.

Greg wrote the definitive book on how and why FDR ordered the internments, By Order of The President. It's an awesome read for those of you who like reading history.

(Disclaimer: I have met and become close friends with Greg. He's a great guy. I'm going to Montreal to visit soon. But I'm not plugging his book because of our friendship. It really is an awesomely good book.)
