Could it be that because Kerry & his crew were aggressive in their patrols, and in direct combat, that other swiftboat captains & crew were resentful at having to push themselves, and put themselves under further risk of injury, to match Kerry's performance? Could it be that they thought they could get through their tours by playing it safe, and then found themselves being outshined by this priveledged schoolboy?

Discuss.

1. Perhaps.....certainly jealousy and oppotunism plays into this, too.
You have to ask the question.....if Kerry was running in the Republican primary against Dimson, who would they support? I suspect the answer is obvious.

2. John O'Neill was a Nixon Ratf*%ker.
I posted a ton of info about him and those who fund these Not-So-Swiftvets on my blog this morning:

3. I should add...
...that I am aware that O'Neil is a longtime GOP operative. His life following his service has been financed by GOP contacts and GOP-related firms and individuals. If he were disowned today by the GOP, he's be adrift. But, there is something more here than politics, and we know his statements are lies. I figure that maybe he and his toadies are still pissed they had to step up to more potential persoanl damage because of the actions of Kerry and his crew.
