McCain speaks out about ads!
Just came up on AOL- John McCain isn't happy with the swift boat ads and wants * to denounce them. Of course that ain't gonna happen!

1. this ad will backfire on the Bush campaign, imo

2. Bush's response...
through McClellen is that they don't agree that any of these 527(?) ads should be allowed and that Kerry should agree to stop all of his too. So that's not dismissing this ad...

5. Oh, now I get it.
They're trying to stop people like MoveOn, etc. More of their terrorist tactics. They think they can bully us into cooperating to stop 527s.

Oooooh, I just can't believe how evil they really are.

4. Before getting all misty-eyed over McCain

remember he will support Bush no matter what and even used his fairly mild rebuke of the ad to plug Dubya's service. He is a republican first and foremost and giving him kudos for talking around the edge of the lies is misdirected. Bottom line is, McCain will do whatever it takes to help Bush in this election and used up most all of the courage of his convictions in the Hanoi Hilton.
