Where's the REAL Kerry purple heart doctor?
...The one who actually signed Kerry's wound medical report in Viet Nam?
I've seen his name (which I can't remember at the moment) cited by the Kerry campaign in response to Swift Boat Liars but have heard nothing else about him. Wouldn't it make sense to find him and get a statement?

2. That prick with the beard in the ad isn't him?
I could have guessed that. Although this is a generalization, bastards that have a beard and a look like that are usually real nasty violent talking freeps.

3. I don't think they even have to go there.
The Swift Boat criticizers are bringing the whole military medals system into question. How well do you think that is going to wash with a whole bunch of people who got medals, some obviously earned, some less obviously so. It isn't exactly as though no one in the military ever saw anyone else get medals that they wondered about. How can any of us know anyway, since we weren't there? People who were there say different things. That isn't surprising. Eye witness is notoriously variable.

Whatever happened, Kerry turned around and went back, under fire (enemy fire? or friendly fire?).

Heck, even Bob Dole seems to have an extra silver star that isn't fully documented. Maybe they gave him two for how bad he was hurt. As in all rewards systems, it is inherently uneven.

4. I think he probably made his statement when
Kerry got the Hearts...they don't usually give them out on hearsay. Maybe we should question every Purple Heart that has ever been awarded. Wanting a statement from some doctor who saw Kerry 35 years ago is bogus...IMHO.

5.  I doubt seriously a military doctor...
in Viet Nam 35 years ago would be able to recollect with any clarity one way or the other the circumstances of injuries sustained by one particular individual, unless they knew that person on personal level. How would this guy know that John Kerry would go on to become a U.S. Senator and candidate for President, and why is it taking until now to step forward?!
