2. Found it
Snip:

-- A wealthy Texan and prolific Republican donor is helping bankroll a television ad assailing Democrat John Kerry's decorated military record in the Vietnam War.

Houston homebuilder Bob J. Perry has donated at least $100,000 to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a suburban Washington-based group airing a new ad in which Vietnam veterans who served on swiftboats accuse the Democratic presidential nominee of lying about his war record.

The group bought $500,000 of airtime for the 60-second ad to air in the battleground states of Wisconsin, Ohio and West Virginia.

The effort is reminiscent of a 2000 effort that helped drive George W. Bush's then-rival John McCain from the presidential race.

3. I think this ad is utterly
dirty. It should be pulled right away.

At least our candidate fought in a war!

4. Bob J. Perry owns Perry Homes. Here's a company contact page.
Tell him what you think of him.

5. Okay. I live in Texas and just emailed Perry Homes.
When you get to the site, be sure to check "Information on a new Perry Home" - your comments will be read.

I guess that Mr. Perry forgot that there are plenty of Kerry supporters who will not look at his homes because of his support for those vile Swift Boat Vets.

6. It's A 527 Non-Profit Group...Like MoveOn
I heard it was funded by a guy named "Perry"...a Texas "Bush Ranger".

This is the other edge of McCain-Feingold we're going to have to gut up and deal with. There's also the "Club For Growth" that is sure to slime lies about Kerry raising taxes and others that will do their thing. These groups don't have to be factual and supposedly have no connections to the campaign...but we know different.

Instead of dreading or fearing these bastards, let's take 'em head-on...and I expect the Kerry campaign will. Max Cleland is spoilin' for a piece of O'Neill and all things Repugnican...go get 'em Max.

In the meantime, our 527s are registering voters and reaching out to those whose votes either haven't matter or were taken for granted.

Whose side is gonna win?
