We have an American company operating about 10 Restaurants in the Berlin area. Some of those Restaurants had letter-sized ads for the American documentary "Super-Size-Me", attacking the biggest fast-food-chain in Germany: the American Company McDonalds.

I wanted to joke and say something sarcastic, but your post took the wind out of my sail. I pity these knuckle-draggers, for I am related to a few myself.

The most common problems in America are: poor education, poor health, poverty, and childhood trauma. This leads to the other problems you highlighted. None of this needs to be because this country has the wealth to address these problems, but the power elite want the status quo to remain ad infinitum.
