If Obama doesn't take Keyes seriously, and run his campaign accordingly, Keyes could do some damage even if the voters regect him outright.

Of course, I really want to see Obama shred Keyes in a debate. That's just frosting.

it'll really help his image as a rising star. He needs to run a hard campaign so he just walks away with this election. Imagine if he wins DuPage!

2. I say 65-35

About 35% of the electorate is probably hardcore repuke and will vote for whoever has an R next to their name.

Also seeing as Obama has no chance of loosing and Kerry is virtually assured victory in IL, that will probably depress turnout which will tend to benefit Republicans. Obviously not enough to make close, but I'd be surprised to see Keyes get under 35%.
