1. I love this one
To: WatchOutForSnakes

Easy sport. A single month of jobs data isn't going to get anyone elected. But nice try.

LOL.. How about a full 4 years..

11. They seem to not recognize that the main difference between
unemployment rates between Clinton and Bush. Clinton it was unemployment. Under Bush they're looking for jobs for so long they're eventually losing their unemployment benefits.

2. Are you doing the dance they said we should be doing?
Delighted by the unemployment rates? Happy that we have ruined the economy by talking about it?

Poor Pukes. They're backing a LOSER and are starting to realize it.

24. Way too many unemployed DUers to be happy about it.
But it's stuff like this that shows people how incompetent BushCo is on the economy. I just hope they're paying attention...

3. I looked at that thread
And I wonder how it is that the FReepers are bemoaning the "liberal media" and its lefty spin? Nothing could be further from the truth! How is it that they can't see the hideously obvious right slant?

To: RWR8189

Congratulations to the Democrats - their talking down of the economy is having the desired effect.

I take personal responsibility. I am complaining now for over one year that I can't find a better paying job so I make enough money to pay my bills and so I don't have to drive 50 miles one-way just to get to work. I wasn't aware that I am so powerful that by just saying that, I can mess up America's economy.

Do I have to apologize to Bush for saying that it was his fault and that he is an incompetent ass? /sarcasm

22. No, only Democrats have the power to mess up the economy by talking
about it or just thinking about it. Actually, it probably was Clinton's penis who is at fault. The all powerful clenis...

Nothing bad is ever the fault of Republicans. Only good things come from them /sarcasm

16. No doubt about it
Detroit can still swing the state, like it did in 2000 and the Governor's election in 2002. Of course, the freepers will claim voter fraud, but that's bull, especially in light of Pappageorge's comment about the GOP needing to "supress the Detroit vote".

I live in Macomb County, in southwest Warren. I'm reasonably sure that my part of Warren is mostly democratic, but it's always interesting to see how the entire county votes. In 2000, I lived in Detroit, where I lived for 12 years before buying my house in Warren. I always voted early, on my way to work. That year, I saw more voters than I ever did at my precinct, and more young male voters. If this trend continues, and Detroit can regularly get 250,000+ voters, the dems can count on Michigan for national and state-wide votes.

8. he just better hope he's not the "lucky ducky" in the building
that gets hit by the terrorist attack. And besides, if an attack occurs, doesn't that blow apart the we are safer meme? And who will he bomb in retaliation since that's where he draws his support, when he bombs things?
I, for one, intend to be intensely critical of the government for not only failing again to protect us but for setting up such pathetic improvements that are needed for an adequate emergency response.

25. Stop complaining about the economy
or else Bush will lose! Suck it up and take one for America, put on your happy faces.

Let them believe their own spin on this. Let them honestly believe that these numbers won't hurt Bush. Let them ignore the iceberg that will sink their unsinkable ship.
