In response to the interview of one of the Swift Boat liars on the Cam Edwards NRA show:

I saw your hard hitting interview with Hoffman. Wow Cam, you asked some hard hitting questions. Why didn't you ask him about his groups links to the republican party? Why didn't you ask him why 10 of 11 surviving members who SERVED with Kerry support him so strongly? Why didn't you ask him who paid for the ad? Why didn't you ask him how many of the group's steering committee were republicans and how many had worked for republican administrations? Why didn't you ask him why Kerry recieved glowing evaluations from ALL of his officers while in Vietnam?

This group and it's commercial is political pornography. You have lost any ground you ever had to criticize anything used against Bush from this point forward.

The difference between the charges of these people against Kerry and the charges against Bush, is that the Bush charges are made and supported by people who were direct witnesses to Bush's behavior. Here are some of my favorite:


Bush made a girlfriend get an abortion in the 70's before it was legal.

Bush used cocaine and failed a drug test in the military and was arrested for cocaine possession. He was given community service and his record destroyed.

Bush was AWOL from the Texas and Alabama National Guard. He was a coward who did not want to go to Vietnam and checked a box stating so.

Bush was arrested 3 times. Once for Drunk Driving and had his license suspended.

Laura Bush killed a boyfriend by crashing her car into him.

Bush was a drunk. He drank heavily until he was in his 40's. He never sought or received treatment so he is still a drunk, just a dry one.

Bush did not marry until his late 30's. He was quite the ladies man. He was having sex out of wedlock so he is an adulterer.

Bush is a crappy businessman. Every business he has ever been a part of was run into the ground.

Bush sold stocks in his company based on insider information for profit while other shareholders got screwed.

So we have an alcoholic, coke head, adulterer, cowardly AWOL, lying, baby killing, failed businessman, insider trading idiot as president running against a war hero who fought in Vietnam then took the morally courageous stance of protesting a war that he thought was wrong and served his country as a prosecutor and senator ...who will you chose.

Please go there yourself and tell Cam what you think of this disgusting smear campaign.

4. with all due respect to your mom

The republicans have attacked and bashed every female that has ever been associated with the democratic party. They have an organized campaign against Teresa, I heard several local conservative talk show hosts call John Edwards wife fat and unattractive, Hillary has been called a murderering lesbian. They even went after John McCains wife and called her a drug addict.

The gloves are off. I even like Laura Bush, she seems to be the most respectable member of that family.I love women and respect them greatly but I feel we have to fight back with the same intensity with which we are attacked.

Of his other works, which have you found especially meaningful? I do know he's an important thinker & would appreciate some guidance from a true fan.

Pickles is not a subject of my wrath .... and I wont reduce myself to republican hate tactics simply because 'they do it too' ...

That said: Mrs. Pickles needs to try and stay above the fray as well ... the more political she acts and talks; the more exposed she is to legitimate political polemic ...

I say: lay off the families .... but if they choose to enter the fray: they are vulnerable ...
