MSNBC just mentioned the "Recession" word
Kramer, of the Kudlow and Kramer finance show was just interviewed by Natalie Allen and he said that when the job growth number is this low that the recession word starts getting thrown around, he said and I'm quoting "this is a disaster" refering to the fact that they were counting on 250,000 new jobs and were whispering 350,000 and only got 32,00 it is a disaster and if theu did things like the NFL that alot of people would be fired today, but they are not so the same people will be around next time to give more bad information. On CNN they also said that there is now no way for the administration to claim that they have turned the corner and gotten all the jobs back that have been lost since * took office. Along with the high price of oil it will be hard for them to use the econom,y for re election and this from Bill Schnieder, Do we dare hope that the tide is turning. MSNBC has been down on them this morning.

1. Your post is the only one I've read that allows me optimism -- TV news...
holds all the cards, I'm afraid. As long as they prop Bush up, I worry that he stays propped up right through Election Day.

2. Poor Dumbya, let's see if press starts doing stories on new recession
and then see how it affects the election.

3. We've turned the corner...

I believe that means poor growth plus high inflation and I heard that word tossed around a couple of times today.

6. Aren't stocks about 20% lower than when Shrub took office too?
Those tax cuts and Iraq war have not done the trick for Bushbaby

19. The S&P is down 20.3% since AWOL took office.
The S&P has not been down since, I think, hoover was pres. I know it's been up under every president going back to 1945 and Truman.

9. Kramer was very powerful and almost angry.
I caught that. She asked him about the new jobs report, he said something like he was not going to go there. Not playing that game. He was a very cross man.

He said if anything could get terror off the front page, it would be the job growth number.

He was mad!

14. Duh.
Just shows what a republican echo-chamber Kudlow and Kramer live in. If they had any grasp on reality, they wouldn't be suprised to see that Chimpy is destroying the economy.

Kramer, you're just now getting it? Wake the Cheney up and smell the middle-class plight. Dipshit.

18. As long as Bush keeps playing with the Terrorist card, the economy will
go down and down and down. People need to feel in a safe secure and trustworthy environment to invest and shop. That is exactly what Bush has deprived the world of in the last 3 1/2 years. He can keep playing with the fear card but it will show up in the economy with bad news. He is toast.
