If AWOL isn't running this country -- who is? (serious question)
After watching several speeched by this man...he clearly is not a

capable speaker, not very quick on his feet and probably has some

sickness that we will learn at a later date.

My question is...since he is obviously not creating policy or

reading any 911 reports.

What's your take?

1. The group of NeoCons that used him as a front man to get in power.
Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld (we don't see him anymore, but he's still running things), Ashcroft. . . some scary, sick bastards, actually.

4. Rove's politics come first
Policy is guided by politics with these creeps. It's been that way since campaign 2000.

5. Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle...the PNAC consortium.
I just finished "The Price of Loyalty" by Paul O'Neill, bush*'s first Treasury Secretary. He gives a chilling account of just how disengaged the boy king is.

10. Halliburton, GE, Bechtel, Carlyle
Lockheed, TRW, Boeing, Raytheon

That's your big money. Those old money families are archaic and irrelevant. It's the corporate era. That's where power lies now.

11. Old is not corporate? pls distinguish the two
Old money IS in corporate form. Please clarify your distinction.

GE, Lockheed, Boeing are old money, if i recall "the incredible Rocky " correctly. The others are recent.

How would you say the new has overpowered the old?

Who are the main few in the list you listed? any one leads? Pls rank their power, if possible.
