Bush "I don't want to be a war president" -- Then why did HE start Iraq ?
This was part of his speech to journalists. If his whole theme is

I'm the ebst president to "protect us"...why did he start the Iraq

war if he doesn't want to be a "war president"?

Is he insane? (clinically)

3. Then fucking RESIGN!! Because - according to Cheney - we're going
to be "at war" for the foreseeable future if not eternity. Since you've admitted you're not the man for the job you should resign immediately and let Cheney run things until Kerry is elected.

Pretty simple solution....you fucking asshole.

13. You are soooo right! Bush claimed several times on TV
with his big-ass pukelike smirk firmly implanted: "I am a war time president!"
Now that people are sick of useless personal-choice war, Bush is flip-flopping and trying to weasel out of his boastings these past 2 years.

"Boo hoo, no one could have conceived of terror attacks against America causing a peace-loving man like me who wouldn't hurt a fly (frog perhaps, but no fly) to be forced into becoming a war time president...boo hoo."

7. He definitely said that in the infamous Tim Russert MTP interview.
That comment is even featured in "Fahrenheit 9/11."

10. That was on the tim russert interview
And yes he definintely said "i'm a war president". Dems should have pounced on that silly macho statement but didn't. Now they have a golden opportunity to paint junior as a flip-flopper. We'll see if they do.

Our own Tiberius Caesers.

Kind of makes you wish for the Enlightened Rule of Emperor Poppy Augustus.

Hell, kind of makes you long for the honest decency (by comparison) of Richard Nixon!

18. Why in the world did Rove cut him loose?
Bush's handlers have always avoided situations like this. Is it a sign of desperation that they will try anything and pray that Bush gets by on percieved charm?
