Yet another Bushism from his Unity Speech today
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/06/bush.legacy/index.html

While Bush clearly stated his opposition to quotas, he also suggested that he was not opposed to affirmative action.

But he didn't explain what the distinction was.

"I support college affirmatively taking action to get more minorities in their school," Bush said as the audience laughed.

He is such an embarassment!!!!!

5. did you hear that he said
he wanted to eliminate legacy admissions. Then noted he'd gotten into Yale with lousy grades "but I had to jump through a bunch of Hoops." I'll bet. Getting his name sewn in all his clothing? What a jerk.
But he is right he should never have been allowed in Yale or Harvard.

6. How Can Bush Go Around Saying This Sort of Thing
And then try to rip on Kerry for saying "I voted for the $87 billion, before I voted against it"?

8.  Think that george is in panic mode.?
I think so. He will start exploding pretty soon. He will become depressed and be less able to control his speech. Looking forward to it.
