The Neo Fascists had no exit strategy because they were not planning on exiting.

Kerry/Edwards don’t have any plans to leave either.

Only the Iraqis have the power to re-claim their own country.

If you read these two articles you will know why most Iraqis want the "Liberators" to go home.

4. Even the civil war argument has failed
I remember the whole reason we couldnt leave last winter was cause we had to prevent a civil war. Well with civil war now ragine, I would say even that remnant of justification is gone. Going forward the least damaging thing we could do, is simply to unilaterally pull our troops out.

5. The Civil War Excuse.
Iraq has been liberated according to the Neo Fascists. If that is truely the case then the Iraqis are the ones who should be able to decide what sort of Govt. and territorial structure they desire, not the US Govt. I don't believe that there would be a Civil War. I feel that the Iraqis would probably decide to have a lose confederation of teritories, most likely three distinct states under an umbrella Republic, perhaps on the model of the UK regarding Govt. Structure.

The Reconstruction can also be handled by Iraqis. They re-built their own country before and can do so again with Intl. assistance but not dominance of Multi-Corps. It is obvious that Iraqis have the capablities to fashion their own country and don't need to be colonized because they are not a primitive, non-technological society.
The US Govt. needs to withdraw and allow Iraqis self-determination.
