2. A lot of the CNN folks seem
to be away. I guess they all needed a break from their bashing at the convention.

11. It's A Wierd Arrangement...
According to something I read when this current format came into being...Carville & Begala were hired as a team...and at first Novak refused to work vs. Carville, but later had a change of heart (como se dice: que dinero??).

The arrangement was made to accomodate Carville's speaking and consulting biz...so he could go off for days or weeks at a time to do his "main job", just like Novak's main job is "columnist". Also, there's generous vacation time for all built in.

When the show goes on the road, the clock goes on the road as well. Generally, Carville works only 2 or 3 days a week, but for the DNC, he was "on the clock" for 6...thus, he worked an extra week and will be doing the same for the RNC.

Contracts are wierd animals, but this could be an explanation.

However, I'd far more prefer that he was tending to Mary's depression and hate withdrawl.

13. I think Carville is out slaying dragons.....
Like Corsi, et. al....

Carville knows everyone who knows anybody, and I envision him in some office in a safe house, drinking coffee and Jack, on three different phone lines, with four different tvs on, barking orders to subordinates.
