New DNC ads try to do too much...
People think in sound bites. If the DNC is going to swarm on Bush it needs to be fast and hard. Not some long drawn out 1:30 minute ad. Something like this:

Bush Turns Back on Soldiers

George W. Bush has turned his back on the soldiers of our great military. How?

Cut military pay.

Cut veterans' benefits.

Cut military housing.

Sent troops into Iraq without proper equipment.

George Bush turned his back on our troops. Now it is time to turn our back on George W. Bush. Vote Kerry in November.

Or something like this...

George W. Bush is Wrong for America

Iraq has Weapons of Mass Destruction. WRONG

The economy is getting stronger. WRONG

The Patriot Act does not take away civil liberties. WRONG

Our nation is safer. WRONG

Tell George Bush he is wrong. Vote for John Kerry for President of the United State.

Or something like this...

"As a young man, George W. Bush was absent from his military service.
As president, George W. Bush was absent from his job by being on vacation for XXX days prior to 9/11."

When the America needed George Bush, he was absent. Now George Bush needs America. Tell him it is too late. Vote for John Kerry for President."

These ads need to be quick and hard. Quick and hard. People don't have the attention span required for many of the DNC ads.

Any other ideas????
