Anyone else hear the 2 junior fruit loops on C-Span?
I can't believe the crap coming out of their mouths. They sound like a couple of Hitler's youth. Made me sick to my stomach.

2. They were basically reciting the republican play book
just memorised talking points. When they attenpted to explain their personal views, they sounded foolish unexperienced and uneducated. Especially the girl. Only one caller asked if they had any intentions to serve the military. The male creature said he planned on joining the Air National guard after college before going to grad school. I think the should both enlist in the regular Army right now.

6. Memorized for sure...........
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 09:16 AM by Roy
The young lady had some deeply held conservative convictions, but it looked like she was having troubled reading them.

When questions were asked that she didn't have written answers for she embarrassing admitted to not being well informed on that issue.

She also had a tough time trying to figure out whether or not she saw F-911.

Easy to see why their idea of fair and balanced debate, is debate between two conservatives.

3. I did see them briefly, and when the girl claimed 'Man' Coulter
as one of her fav influences, I quickly changed channels. Blek!!! I guess this is what we have in store for the buildup to their convention...

4. Turned it off as soon as that segment was announced.
What did you expect? The Young Socialist's League?

5. You mean the deep thinker that looked up to Coulter?
I turned the channel after a few minutes.

But not until I learned the Con-boy wonder went to Hillsdale College of Paul Harvey ad fame and was a loose nut and a few bolts short of a being hinged.

The little robo-Repub chick was hand-jobbing way through life admiring Man Coulter.

This segment on C-span did little for these baby wingers other than to expose the viewers to the lunacy that has overtaken the Right right from infancy.

8. What did they say about the war?
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 09:20 AM by DaveSZ
I'm amazed that young people can be neocons, and yet are unwilling to lay their own asses on the line.

It's enough to almost make you want there to be a draft.

7. I watched....it was definitely sickening
The girl ended the segment saying the biggest misconception is that Cons are heartless. She failed to say anything that proved otherwise.

Pedro asked who their Con influences were. The guy cited the Federalist papers and stated the country was founded on conservative principles. Ann Coulter was mentioned by the girl. Neither fessed up to Hannity and Limbaugh, instead the guy kept saying that the media was liberally biased without providing proof. The guy also said his parent influenced him, that as a youngster he passed out conservative literature with his parents.

They want prayer in schools even after claiming to read the constitution which advocates separation of church and state.

Both reminded me of a David Brock at that age--totally dedicated to their beliefs without the benefit of a well rounded world view from life experience. I shudder to think that either of them or their kind ever hold public office.

9. Can anyone tell whether C-Span balanced them out with two youth
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 09:25 AM by higher class
Democrats or Independents? I had to take off and didn't get to listen to the end.

They delivered all right. If interested, go to townhall.com and read the agendas of the conservative foundations listed there - a number of them are funded for the purpose of grooming youth just as you witnessed.

The best day ever was when Michelle Malkin, who was about 21 or 22 at the time, was spouting off about how the 'hippie' generation ruined our country. It was in connection with one of the Clinton assassination, war of slime, maneuuers. It wasn't just a statement - she was telling us how and why it ruined us.
