7. I remember so well when AA first started

My local party chair had been away for a month and when she came back AA was on. We were talking on the phone and she turned it up and was exclaiming how wonderful it was for the left to get this high profile radio coverage. She's had a long, hard slog up hill in this rethug zone and all progress delights her, which in turn is delightful to others. Then I come on-line to various places and all these people are bitchin'. What a contrast.

Also, while I'm on the subject, I noted in real life during the primaries many of us liked different candidates. There were no arguments over it, none of the behavior we saw on-line. We worked together on party stuff, talked politics, didn't get in anybody's face and things went great. Unlike on-line....

I have no problem with dicussion that includes disagreement. Sometimes it just gets ridiculous.

I have seen POST AFTER POST attacking Dan Rather as being a "Bushco Apologist".

:wtf: is this? Dan Rather is a Moderate Liberal with a distaste for the BFEE!!!

Also, Brokow and Jennings as well as Jim Leher have been wrongly attacked for being "too right wing", which is total B.S!

DUer's who do the above should spend more time attacking CNN/FAUX/ABC/Clear Channel, etc.

I remember people who were poo-pooing Franken when he first came on as being "too boring" and "ineffective". THEY WERE ALL WRONG!!!
