Do you feel that the economy is "turning a corner" and getting better or likely to get better for you?

Yes - 46.9%
No - 53.1%

3. It's so pretty in Alachua! And I went to a Hare Krishna
Vegetarian restaurant there ..a couple of years ago that was delicious!

And Gainseville itself is prerry progressive, I think.

10. Actually, Alachua County is very Democratic
For example, McBride got 57% of the vote here, when he ran against Jeb. On the other hand we still have paper ballots that are scanned and an honest Supervisor of Elections, so that may have made a difference.

My sister has a day spa on 13th street and my dad lives on 13th street ..in a retirement community out by Alachua!

And I liked to go into town by the University to Mother Earth!

25. It's a lake
off of SW 13th Street. It's very beautiful back here and you would never know that you are just 5 minutes from downtown. I have alligators in my backyard every day.

We both seem to have a lot of connections with stuff on 441 (13th St).

26. They've changed the poll.
The last one ended with 68% disagreeing that the economy has turned a corner.

The new one asks your opinion of the "Vote for Change" tour featuring Dave Matthews et all. So far, 100% in support -- with six votes! ;)
