If you can turn to CNBC.
Tim Russert is interviewing Krugman and O'Reilly. I saw it early and if you want to see O'Reilly be a huge asshole watch it and also watch Krugman shoots down Bill's arguements.

The man is in serious need of some anti-psychotic medication. Watch the whole "debate" and you will see what I mean.

3. It's painful to watch...
Krugman is clearly the superior intellect by about 10,000,000,000,000 miles. But he doesn't have Bill's attack dog, wave your finger in their face method of working. And as usual O'Reilly talks over his points. And also as usual Russert lets him do it like that ass hat he is.

5. I was rooting for Krugman--but
I have to reluctantly admit that he looked foolish. Krugman was so passive, that he did not manage to get his points across effectively. It made me really angry--I was shouting at the TV screen--urging Krugman to step his attack up and gut O'lielly--but he just sat there like a stuffed dummy.

7. Yeah, but like my wife said...Krugman is a columnist....
..an academic. There's just no way it's in his nature or his intellect or his training to act like O'Reilly.

8. I disagree
I'm rewatching it now.

I think Krugman did himself a world of good by sitting back and watching O'Reilly make himself look like the idiot that he is.

Paul got important points across.

I'll admit that O'Reilly interrupted him way too much.

But for that I lay the blame on the moderator.

6. I'm watching it now
It's amusing to look at Krugman's facial expressions while listening to O'Reilly's right-wing bloviations. He has the look of "WTF is this idiot talking about?!"

I want to reach in and grab O'Reilly by the neck. He is nothing but a trunculant airbag.

13. I think Krugman did a fine job of sitting back and letting O'R be the fool
he is.

I especially loved the point where Krugman started LAUGHING and POINTING at O'Reilly saying something like 'Here he goes, here he goes, here he goes'

It was hilarious.

14. I saw it...

other people thought Krugman looked nervous or afraid..I didn't think so. He's just got some mannerisms maybe that come off that way. I think Krugman had a good time with Idiot Bill.
