Hows 'bout a push to get Guy James on AAR?
Edited on Sun Aug-08-04 12:05 AM by HOWLIN_WOLF
Actually...Guy, Peter Werbe, and Bernie Ward would really solidify AAR! Just a thought...but there's a paycheck and the comfort of knowing he'll be around a while!

1. They really have nothing over the weekend so this would be
good..I don't think Bernie Ward wants a new job, he has been with KGO for many years.

2. Bernie could do like Malloy...
and stay right there in 'Frisco...probably right there in the KGO studios and AAR could link right from KGO. Malloy mentioned Monday night that he is broadcasting right from his old IEAmerica studio right there in Atlanta!

4. Great idea but ...
don't call it "'Frisco" ... believe me on that one.

As for Guy James, if AirAmerica had a brain, they'd hire him. He was willing to do it for free if they'd fly him to the location. He mailed them his resume and they totally ignored him. Its just like the Mike Malloy scenario except they have failed to eventually acknowledge him.

I prefer Guy James to Bernie Ward. However, I do like Bernie Ward as well.

Guy James has a lot of fight in him - similar to Malloy in a way.

3. I am a big fan of Guy James...
And a supporter of his show and it would be great if he gets on AAR. It's simply not fair that he has to pay for the radio time and doesn't get paid to do what he does....

6. you would think that AAR would JUMP
at the chance to stream him on Saturdays rather than do reruns.
