It just baffles me how the President, the Congress, the media, and the
public can ignore Sibel Edmonds' expose. This entire work slow-down withing the FBI wasn't about just getting more money and staff, it was about covering their assess for not translating and possibly preventing 9/11. I am just amazed that the Congress has known about this for so long and no one has been fired except the messenger. Everyone involved who knows about this and has done nothing should be tried for treason.
Not one media outlet has made this a real headline story. This and the Plame story under a Dem administration would mean a year of impeachment and treason trials and a series of resignations within the Justice Department and the FBI. It is truly "chilling" to know that such evil and arrogance goes unpunished and largely unnoticed.

2. You have to wonder
Why everyone all over the country is losing their jobs while deadbeats and incompetent's in Washington hold onto theirs. Imagine the fantasy, who to fire first.

I going with Rummy. First on my hitlist.

3. We need a lot more than just a change
of administration. We need a review and shake-up of the government bureaucracy from top to bottom. People such as Ms. Edmond's supervisor need to not only be fired but charged with crimes. If then convicted they should lose any retirement or other benefits that they were due from the government and be jailed. No Allentown or Homestead for these types but Guantanamo with others that have worked for the downfall of the United States.

4. On 60 Minutes today
Ed Bradley interviewed a number of people including Sibel Edmonds, covering the entire issue. He even showed interviews of a Senator has been looking into the problem.

But you're right - this chilling story has been ignored by the press in general, the administration, congress, and both political parties.
