in fact we just might (mutters probably) have STOPPED THEM! but alQaeda is planning something bigger than 9/11 so stay alert and stay scared!

As the justification and rejustification of Ridge's terror revival last Sunday continues they seem to be taken credit for something that didn't happen (they know this within a week) but make sure everyone knows that they are still very much in danger.

As I watched the ladies of Bush all over the airwaves yesterday it was striking just how right they were after all. :eyes: Then this morning both ABC and NBC were reporting that gosh darnit they sure did foil them evildoers WOW! how successful!!

And they suggested, in television talk shows Sunday, some of the potential plots uncovered in the past week may have been part of a broader effort to strike the country before the November election.

The Bush administration's decision was criticized because of its reliance on three-year-old intelligence, but Townsend said Sunday that the threat was current and real, and said raising the alert appeared to have slowed the planning for a strike.


"The question is did we disrupt all of it or a part of it," Townsend said.

Amazing how they have pulled so many rabbits out of the hat just three months before the election, when we have had a 3 year drought with practically no mention of any significant breakthroughs and no action on the Anthrax attacks. I am sure they are thinking that voters will not want to change direction in the middle of all these anti-terrorist investigations.

For three years we've had occasional non-specific terror alerts. Now the WH is leaking info everyday about every possible target.

It's seems that the less people pay attention the louder they have to scream. BE AFRAID, VOTE FOR W, BE AFRAID....
