I have to admit to a certain fascination with FR.
I am never more convinced that I am on the right side than when I read a posting and replies like this. I am glad I haven't seen anything like this here.

(Mods. This is inflamitory in it's content and I am not sure about the regulations of posting from another site.

Why not say it bluntly? Islam is an aggressive, violent political ideology
Jewish World Review ^ | 8-9-04 | Zev Chafets

The two men arrested in Albany for allegedly taking part in a terrorist plot were men of G-d. So friends and neighbors have been telling reporters. Mohammed Mosharref Hossain was a pillar of the local congregation. Yassin Muhiddin Aref was a prayer leader. They called their mosque the House of Peace.

The mosque belongs to the North American Islamic Trust, which runs many other mosques in the U.S. The trust is funded mostly by the Saudis. It has other enterprises, too, including a book club. One of its featured offerings is "Jihad: A Commitment to World Peace."

Or if you are not a reader, you can express commitment to jihad in action. Like the Albany warriors who, the government charges, signed up to help gun down a senior Pakistani diplomat on the streets of New York City, using a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile.

The upstate jihadis are not unique. On the contrary, they are just the latest in a long and growing list of local Islamic "spiritual leaders" and national Muslim leaders who have been implicated in terrorist activity.

Islam has been knocked back time and again, at great cost in human lives, but it has never been thoroughly exterminated; it simply goes back to the lands it controls entirely, which are backward lands that nobody pays much attention to, and stays out of sight until it is strong enough to attack again.
That's why I occasionally compare islam to a macro version of the HIV virus. The similarities are striking

1. Because we all know that Christianity is a religion of peace.
It's never been used to kill people (Holocaust, Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, etc.) or start wars (Crusades) or incite violence (abortion clinic bombings, abortion doctor murders).

Nope, Islam is clearly the aggressive, violent religion.

</sarcasm>

hypocritical lives.

When did American christians personify self-rightesousness and pomposity so easily and when did they start to twist christianity in such a partisan way and when did they turn on immigrants and foreigners with such venom and hate and when did they start condoning the theft and lies of leaders with such blindness?

2. Ya gotta be careful reading that stuff.
You should make sure to wash your hands well after visiting that site. Also, make sure you purge your computer of any links to that place. Don't want to go infecting others with their brand of "logic".

8. I know what you mean.
Same sort of morbid fascination I had as a teenager with the "Faces of Death" videos.
